While many fans expressed excitement over David Corenswet's debut performance as Superman, Morrison viewed the film through a more complex lens, seeing both positive elements and points of contention intertwined like the character’s famous red cape.
Gunn’s interpretation of Superman is notably brighter and more optimistic, a refreshing shift that many have been craving after years of darker superhero narratives.
